Map View
The VIP platform provides flexible map viewing options.
Map View Options
The platform offers two primary map view options:
- Standard Map (Default): A clean, simplified cartographic representation with essential geographic features like roads, borders, and place names
- Satellite: High-resolution aerial imagery showing the actual physical environment
Choosing the right map view
| Standard Map | Satellite View |
|---|---|
| General data analysis where geographic features are secondary | Analyzing data in relation to physical infrastructure |
| Cleaner visualization when working with dense data sets | Understanding the built environment context |
| Better performance on slower connections or devices | Identifying physical barriers or features affecting mobility |
| Situations where the physical environment is less relevant | Presentations where real-world imagery adds valuable context |
