Users Management and User Roles

The VIP platform includes a comprehensive user management system that allows organizations to control access and permissions. This system ensures that the right people have the appropriate level of access to data and functionality within the platform.

Overview

The user management interface provides administrators with tools to invite new users, manage existing accounts, assign roles, and monitor platform usage. This centralized approach to user management helps maintain security and streamlines the onboarding process for new team members.


User Roles

VIP offers two primary user roles with different permission levels:

Admin

Administrators have full access to the platform and user management capabilities:

  • Invite new users to the organization
  • Manage existing user accounts
  • Assign and change user roles
  • Access all data layers and functionality
  • Create and manage organization-wide settings
  • Monitor platform usage and activity

Member

Members have standard access to the platform's analytical capabilities:

  • Access authorized data layers and visualizations
  • Create and save personal reports and analyses
  • Use all analytical tools and features
  • View shared reports and dashboards
  • Cannot invite new users or manage user roles

Users of your organisation

Users of your organization could be seen on your parameters, on the members page.


Invite a new member

Click on the buttom "Invite member" on the upper right green buttom of the Member page.

The invited user will receive an email with instructions to create their account and access the platform.


Account Status

User accounts can have one of the following statuses:

  • Active: The user has accepted the invitation and has full access
  • Pending: The invitation has been sent but not yet accepted
  • Disabled: The account has been deactivated and cannot access the platform
